The joy was short-lived for the “Armys”.
The alleged account of South Korean artist Jungkook from BTS has been canceled and removed from the Spotify platform.
That's even after the streaming platform gives it the seal of verification.
The account already had an incredible 450,000 followers in just 2 days on the air and that sum was increasing every hour.
But, after a more careful analysis of it, Spotify itself rectified the error by banning the account that was supposedly used by Jungkook.
The account was created on January 5, 2022 and with the streaming verification seal, fans felt safe to start following him.
Despite this, the Jungkook or the agency that takes care of BTS, Big Hit Music, at no time spoke saying that they had the account.
Meanwhile, on the fake profile there was a message that said “Coming soon”, that is, content would be added soon.
And, of course, that was what left fans excited to follow and wait for these contents.
But unfortunately the reality was very different and as everyone has seen, that's not what happened.
With the banning of the fake account, the news quickly spread causing ARMYs to take to Twitter to protest and make several memes.
